meet Ally

A little about Ally

 Ally is a compassionate and grounded support worker who brings both professional training and lived experience to her role. Having completed a Certificate IV in Mental Health, she offers a solid foundation of knowledge and practical skills, paired with a deep, personal understanding of the challenges individuals may face.


With a strong focus on empathy, respect, and person-centred care, Ally is committed to creating a safe and inclusive space where people feel heard and supported. She has a natural ability to recognise individual needs and walk alongside participants as they work toward their personal goals. Her warmth, insight, and genuine care make her a trusted and effective presence in the lives of those she supports.


Outside of work, Ally enjoys spending time with her fluffy dog Frankie and has a soft spot for all dogs. She loves playing board games like UNO, especially when they bring people together, and she’s a keen baker who isn’t afraid to try new things in the kitchen—even if cooking isn’t her strongest suit. Ally also values humour and connection, believing that a good laugh can go a long way in building relationships and lifting spirits.

A little about Bridgitte

 Bridgitte brings a vibrant and empathetic presence to her role as a support worker, drawing from years of personal experience supporting close friends through mental health challenges. Her first hand understanding fosters deep compassion and a commitment to making others feel their best.​


With a background rich in patience, confidence, and humour, Bridgitte creates a supportive environment where individuals feel seen and valued. Her energetic nature and genuine care help build strong, trusting relationships with those she supports.​


Outside of her professional role, Bridgitte is passionate about staying active and creative. She enjoys going to the gym, dancing, singing, engaging in various sports, and expressing herself through art and music. These hobbies not only enrich her life but also allow her to connect with clients through shared interests and activities.​

meet Damien

A little about Damien

 Damien Durand holds a Certificate IV in Mental Health and brings over five years of experience working in the mental health sector. He is passionate about supporting individuals to build confidence, develop skills, and work toward meaningful goals. 


Damien approaches his role with empathy, respect, and kindness, creating a safe and supportive environment where people feel heard and understood.


He enjoys staying active and values the benefits that physical activity can have on both mental and physical wellbeing. In his downtime, Damien likes watching movies and TV shows, occasionally unwinding with video games, and expressing his creativity through drawing and art. He also enjoys spending time in nature and has a genuine love for animals.


Damien strives to build positive, respectful relationships and is committed to supporting people in a way that empowers them and promotes independence.

meet Daniel

A little about Daniel

 Daniel has been working as a mental health support worker with Graman since April 2024 and has completed Mental Health First Aid training. He brings empathy, patience, and a collaborative approach to his role, supporting people to feel understood and encouraged as they work toward their goals.


Daniel is passionate about walking alongside people on their journey, creating a safe and supportive space where they can build confidence and independence. He believes that small, consistent steps can lead to meaningful change and values the trust that participants place in him.


Outside of work, Daniel enjoys music production, travelling, and exploring nature, especially through hiking. His calm, creative, and open-minded outlook helps him connect with people in authentic ways and bring positivity to those around him.

meet Jackson

A little about Jackson

 Jackson brings a strong personal understanding of mental health through his own lived experience, which has shaped his compassion and insight when supporting others. His passion for community services and mental health drives his commitment to helping people navigate challenges and build meaningful, fulfilling lives.


He values diverse experiences, personal growth, and finding practical ways to make a difference, believing that every interaction is an opportunity to empower others. Jackson is enthusiastic about learning, exploring different perspectives, and applying his knowledge to support those around him.


Outside of work, Jackson enjoys gaming, philosophy, psychology, mythology, media, books, and experiencing new things. He brings curiosity, creativity, and engagement to everything he does.

meet Mikayla

A little about Mikayla

 Mikayla brings four years of experience working as a high school teacher, including a year as a Year 11 Coordinator, where she supported young people navigating a wide range of mental health challenges. Through her role, she worked closely with students, families, and wellbeing teams, adapting expectations and creating supportive environments to help students feel safe, understood, and able to engage. 


This experience has strengthened her ability to connect with people, communicate thoughtfully, and respond with care and flexibility.

Mikayla is passionate about working in the community services and mental health space and is currently working towards a career in psychology. She values meaningful connection and sees support work as an opportunity to broaden her experience while making a positive impact in people’s lives.


Outside of work, Mikayla loves reading and is part of a book club with friends, enjoying everything from fantasy to historical fiction. She has a lifelong love of music, having played piano for many years, and now enjoys collecting records and occasionally DJing at friends’ events. She also loves spending time outdoors with her partner and dog and values the close friendships that bring balance and joy to her life.

meet Charlotte

A little about Charlotte

 Charlotte is currently studying psychology and completing her placement for a Certificate IV in Mental Health. She has a strong interest in mental health and disability support and is passionate about helping individuals build independence through outreach support tailored to their unique needs and goals. 


Charlotte brings a calm, thoughtful approach to her work and enjoys connecting with people in ways that feel comfortable and meaningful for them. 


Outside of work and study, she loves creative hobbies such as bookbinding, sewing, quilting, drawing, colouring, and painting. She also enjoys reading, video games, and spending time cooking and baking.
